1. Continued our discussion from yesterday and everyone bringing ideas on board regarding names for the ' evangelistic movement '.
Lizzy: Lead the cause
Patricia: Birms for christ / themes in latin words
Bella: ( hashtags ) Evangalismmademedoit . Gfaw ( Go Forth and Win )
Pastor: Sozo ( meaning : be made whole/ save )
Andrea: 2in1 ( 2 souls 1 week )
Initially everyone supported 2in1 because it seemed catchy but there is no bible verse to back up the theme. Pastor spoke about ' purchasing something from the spirit realm '. Whatever we do/theme we set needs to be purchased from the spirit. EG: there is an evangelistic movement by another church #114 which meant Romans 1:14 For I am not ashamed of te gospel etc etc
In the end, this theme also did not go right with Pastor's spirit. So all of us are to do further research.
2. Suggestion on what kind of events / activities we could do as a church to evangelize besides just going out to flyer.
- social events
-prayer walk ( suggestion by Bella )
-singing/dancing evangelism
-street preaching, to do once every 2 weeks/twice a month Target campus UOB , Aston , BCU. Problem, not sure if campus allows us to be doing that openly.
- Lizzy to call Rudolph and ask for UOB , Eunice for Aston
-Set a usual day for evangelism for the church - Saturday 12pm - 1pm . Every other week.
